Funding Priorities

Thank you for your interest in Reno Food Systems.

Our Mission is cultivating community-based food systems through education, research and civic engagement.

Our vision is a resilient, interconnected local food system that supports personal health, environmental sustainability, and economic viability.

This is what you can make happen with a gift of $1,000 - $10,000:

  • $1,000: pays for 1 month of irrigation at Park Farm

  • $2,500: purchases much needed Farm Equipment

  • $5,000: buys us 1,000 pollinator plants to plant at Park Farm

  • $7,500: buys 2,192 meals produced at Park Farm and distributed to families experiencing food insecurity through our Food Justice Program 

  • $10,000: sponsors 1 Urban Farm Intern for 1 year

2. Increasing Fresh Local Food Production

3. Growing our Community Food System
