Do you have an older fruit tree that is overgrown or unsightly and you'd like to prune it, but don't know where to start? Never fear, we can help!
Join us for the first class of our 2025 Workshop Series, a hands-on demonstration of the basic steps for renovation pruning of older fruit trees that haven't been pruned for years.
Learn how to identify different parts of a tree, select branches to keep for good structure, make pruning cuts with various tools, determine how much to prune each year, practice good tool hygiene, and create a timeline for renovation pruning over a few years.
The workshop is FREE. And open to all. Donations are encouraged to support our programming. No need to RSVP, just come ready to learn!
Dress in layers, where closed toed shoes, and bring water or anything else you may need to feel great about being outside…
