Make Your Own Fruit Shrub

Shrubs or drinking vinegars are a mix of fruit macerated with herbs, spices, raw sugar and vinegar. During the class I hope to empower students to get creative with flavor combinations as well as learn the healing benefits of vinegar and the herbs used. Hopefully students can explore and we can pick a few herbs that are growing to include in the shrubs. I'd like to use local stone fruit but with the late frost I am not sure of the access we will have! We'll see closer to the date :)

The event is hosted on a working production farm. The ground is uneven but we have had many people in walkers navigate the space. Please be prepared to be outside in the elements the whole time.
