About the event
In this workshop participants will learn the basics of grape vine pruning techniques, trellising methods and general grape growing practices for the entire season, which can be applied to both the backyard garden and commercial vineyard production. There will also be a discussion about growing grapes organically with an emphasis on nurturing the soil health for optimizing crop nutrition and fruit quality.
No need to RSVP, just come ready to learn! Dress in layers, where closed toed shoes, and bring water or anything else you may need to feel great about being outside for 2 hours.
The workshop is free but donations are encouraged!
