Foraged Color: Watercolors from the Garden

Come forage dye materials in the garden, draw in the outdoors, and watercolor with botanical pigments. Gloves are not required for handling the materials, but participants who wish to bring their own are welcome to do so.

About the event
Be prepared to be outside in the elements for the duration of the workshop! There is a shade structure but the garden is mostly outside so wear closed toe shoes and bring sun protection and a water bottle. There is a bathroom at the Activity Center located about 1/8 of a mile from the garden.
We work with the City of Reno to coordinate the community garden where dozens of people, families, kids, seniors and community organizations pay only $5-15 for a plot all year! Come check out the space. It's a beautiful testament to the power and beauty of community.
