Join us for an Introduction to autumnal Gardening Workshop at the Paradise Park Community Garden, in collaboration with AARP Nevada.

Join AARP Nevada in supporting this hands-on workshop, hosted in collaboration with Reno Food Systems at the Paradise Park Community Garden. This interactive session will help participants successfully transition their gardens into the cooler months in Northern Nevada’s high-desert climate.

Attendees will learn which crops thrive in fall conditions, how to extend the growing season as temperatures drop, and practical strategies for preparing garden beds for winter. The workshop will also highlight simple steps to ensure your garden is set up for a healthy and productive start in the spring.

This session is ideal for beginners as well as experienced gardeners looking to refresh their skills, connect with others, and build confidence in year-round gardening.
